Since its opening in 2007, Muang Thai Rachadalai Theatre has constantly kept Thai theatergoers entertained with many different numbers of musicals and plays all year long. With passion and dedication to offer variety of theatre experience, Rachadalai’s Managing Director, Mr Takonkiet Viravan not only achieved in introducing Thai musicals into the market but also elevated Thai theatre productions to Broadway standards as shown in past productions such as Tawipop The Musical, Bunlung Mek The Musical, Fah Jarod Sai The Musical and the upcoming production in Aug 08, Khang Lang Parp The Musical.
Furthermore, Takonkiet has also been recognized by renowned institutions and awarded for Nine Entertain Awards 2008 and Boss of the Year 2008 from Boss magazine.
2 upcoming attractions staging in Muang Thai Rachadalai Theatre start with Soo Fun Aun Ying Yai, the translated Thai version of Man of La Mancha revived to enthrall Thai audiences again under the direction of veteran director Yuthana Mukdasanit with collaboration of 28 Theatres and Scenarios, taking the role of Don Quixote by pop star ‘James Ruengsak Loychusak’. All makes it a gracious return of the memorable melodies ‘The Impossible Dream’.
And the impossible love story between Khun Ying Kirati and Nopporn will be transformed into ‘Khang Lang Parp The Musical’ starring Sithasinee Buddhinan and Sukrit Wisetkeaw, directed by Takonkiet Viravan, opening 21 Aug 08 at Muang Thai Rachadalai Theatre.
